Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been offered to Arsenal, talkSPORT understands.
Bayern are keen to get Coman off their wage bill and Arsenal would consider bringing in another wide player before the transfer deadline on Friday.
Coman has won it all at club level[/caption]France star Coman also has interest from Saudi Arabia.
The 28-year-old joined Bayern Munich on an initial two-year loan deal in 2015, winning the Bundesliga eight times, but recently lost his place in the club’s starting XI.
He suffered a number of injuries during the 2023/24 season which limited him to five goals and three assists.
Coman still has three years left to run on his contract at the Allianz Arena, but the Bavarian outfit are open to parting ways with him.
Mikel Arteta is known to be in the market to bolster his attack with striker Eddie Nketiah set to join Crystal Palace in a £30million deal.
Meanwhile winger and fellow Hale End graduate Reiss Nelson is still facing an uncertain future.
Arteta is keen to provide competition for Bukayo Saka on the right wing, with Coman capable of playing on either flank.
Arsenal had been eyeing up an ambitious swoop for Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams, but the Spaniard is in no rush to leave the Basque side.
And this has led to the Gunners exploring a potential move for the ex-Juventus forward Coman instead.
Coman has featured twice for Bayern in all competitions this season, where he scored in the DFB-Pokal win over second-tier side SSV Ulm.
He then came off the bench in Bayern’s Bundesliga opener away at Wolfsburg, with Vincent Kompany’s men emerging as 3-2 victors.
Injuries restricted Coman to just 17 top-flight matches last term, where he was named in the starting line-up on 15 occasions.
Coman, who has also won league titles with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, has never scored more than eight league goals in a single season from his career so far.
His best return came in the 2020/21 campaign, where he mustered eight goals and 15 assists.
But his career highlight came in the previous term, where he scored the only goal of the Champions League final against PSG.
